Stop Bullsh*tting with yourself
Long story short: I was bragging to my friends about how I started my own business and how "the grind don't stop" and blah blah blah.
I worked on my business here and there and I convinced myself I was working hard and hustling and all that. No days off!
Then I started to write down and keep track of how often I worked.
Turns out there were a lot of days off!
I was bullsh*tting with myself and with others.
So I started writing down and keeping track of when and how much I worked.
I set small goals each week.
Yada, yada, yada...Snowball Goal Planner.
Yada, yada, yada, business is growing.
"Hmm...I wonder if I can use this to get fit?"
Yada, yada, yada, six pack.
What Does This Mean For You?
If you have something you've been saying you want to do - or saying you do but deep down inside you know you're bullsh*tting yourself, this could be the tool to help hold you accountable.
But let's be clear - it's not magic, it's not a pill, it's not an overnight fix. I really wanted to grow my business and I really wanted to get in shape. This helped me stay on track and stay accountable to myself.
It can do the same for you.
